Mireya’s mom knows first hand how difficult it can be to get pictures of individuals with complex disabilities.  Days before Mireya died, her uncle came to visit.  Mireya was very tired and her uncle was trying to get her to smile and said “Mireya, show me your teeth and I’ll show you mine.” and just like that her face erupted in a smile and she flashed her teeth.
